Automation Consultants, the leader in software lifecycle automation, has partnered with Perfecto Mobile. The new tie-up strengthens Automation Consultants’ mobile application testing portfolio.
Perfecto Mobile enables businesses to test and monitor their mobile applications efficiently using its MobileCloud platform. The platform gives access to a wide range of mobile devices without the need for the user to purchase the devices or connect them to a mobile network. The MobileCloud platform is offered in the public cloud as a shared or dedicated service, as well as a private cloud locally installed on customers’ servers.
Once users have access to mobile devices in the MobileCloud platform, the platform provides tools efficiently to perform manual, automated and performance tests on applications installed on the mobile devices, or set up real-time monitoring of the apps and devices. MobileCloud’s test tools integrate tightly with market leading test management and application lifecycle management tools such as HP Quality Center, IBM Rational Quality Manager and Microsoft Team Foundation Server.
Based in Massachusetts, Perfecto was founded in 2006 and has over 1,000 customers, including top Fortune 100/500 businesses. Its products include MobileCloud Interactive, MobileCloud Automation, MobileCloud Performance and MobileCloud Monitoring.
Jeff Cunliffe, director of Automation Consultants, believes that the deal with Perfecto will enable his company to fulfil businesses’ mobile software development requirements: “Our testing expertise combined with Perfecto’s mobile applications testing sphere, means we can now offer a deeper and richer software lifecycle service to businesses developing applications so end-users have the best possible experience.”
He continues: “Perfecto’s values are similar to our own, with an emphasis on automation and ease of collaboration.”
The partnership with Perfecto Mobile follows last month’s deal with Atlassian, the Australian software company specialising in development and collaboration tools.
