Challenge
Network Rail has an online educational system that allows employees to book courses from a web browser. This system required testing to be carried out, to prepare for a much larger user population. Network Rail approached Mercury with the request, who in turn recommended AC. AC was highly recommended by Mercury as it has a proven record of fixing difficult test and development issues.
Solution
AC carried out the consultancy and performance-testing project, which included complex fault diagnosis and resolution services. AC used Mercury’s LoadRunner test tool to resolve the issues at Network Rail, and enabled important processes to be automated by building critical scripts. The solution captured Oracle NCA unique identifiers and successfully located the correct identifier to enable the critical business processes to be recorded. A LoadRunner upgrade was also necessary.
Benefits
The successful outcome of the project was that Network Rail could performance-test their System and roll out a robust and reliable system, nationwide.
