Atlassian will end support for Jira Software 7.6 on 16th November 2019. This means that Atlassian will not fix bugs or address security concerns related to Jira Software 7.6 past the support end date. Your Jira Software instance will be exposed to potential security vulnerabilities and other problems without the support of Atlassian.
How can I protect my Jira?
If you are currently using version 7.6, we strongly recommend upgrading your Jira Software instance to the latest Enterprise release as soon as possible. As of October 21st, this is Jira 8.5, you can read more about it here. Enterprise versions are designated feature releases for which Atlassian guarantee backported security updates and critical bug fixes for two years after the version’s release. This means that version 7.13 will continue to receive support until November 2020, and 8.5 until October 2021.
